Electronics: Original PAF pickups and wiring. The pots date to 1958. The capacitors are bumblebees. Solder joints are untouched.
Pickup Measurements: neck 7.9k ohms bridge 7.5k ohms
Hardware: The hardware is all original except for the tuner bushings. The bushings are repro and there is also a set of mismatched bushings included that were installed on the guitar at some point. These are not original either. Because the tuner holes were enlarged for Grovers, there is a small piece of tape around each bushing to keep it secure.

Modifications/Repairs: At some point the tuner holes were enlarged for Grovers. The original tuners have been reinstalled with repro bushings. The original bushings are not included.
Case Details: Original Hardshell Case. The case includes the original hangtags as well as all the original adjustment instructions.
Cosmetic Condition: The guitar is in very good condition for its age. The finish is glossy with moderate wear and fantastic checking throughout. The finish is completely worn away from a large area on the back of the body. The metal hardware is nicely tarnished.

Tech Notes: The guitar plays well with low action. The frets are relatively small with light play wear. The serial number dates to 1959.
