Finish Details: Original finish with small area of touchup on the back at the lower bass side bout.

Body Details: Solid mahogany body with maple top. There is a repaired ding on the back at the lower bass side bout.

Neck Details: Set three-piece maple neck with bound rosewood fingerboard and dot inlays. The original mounting screw holes from the stock tuners have been plugged, and Schaller tuning machines have been installed. The tuner post holes have been modified to fit the Schaller tuners. The frets have been leveled.
Electronics: Original patent stamped Gibson pickups and electronics. The controls consist of a three-position selector switch, and dedicated volume and tone controls for each pickup. The solder joints related to the bridge pickup have been touched up. The shield cover is missing. Three visible pot codes date to 1980.
Pickup Measurements: Neck 7.47K, Bridge 7.42K
Hardware: The tuning machines, tailpiece, and strap buttons have been replaced. All other hardware is original.

Modifications/Repairs: There is a repaired ding on the back at the lower bass side bout, which has finish touch up. The original mounting screw holes from the stock tuners have been plugged in the back of the headstock. The tuner post holes have been modified to fit the current tuners. The frets have been leveled. The solder joints related to the bridge pickup have been touched up. The tuning machines, tailpiece, and strap buttons have been replaced
Case Details: Hardshell case. The shell has a large crack and piece missing on the headstock end.
Cosmetic Condition: This vintage guitar is in good condition with moderate wear consistent with its age. The finish is glossy and weather-checked. There are scratches, dents, and dings throughout. Some more notable dings are present on the edges of the body, the repaired ding on the bass side bout is one of these. The original pieces of hardware have a light patina. The pickup rings and pickguard have shrunk.
