Finish Details: There is a touched up area at the neck heel, as well as along the sides of the body near the heel. The back of the body has been oversprayed. The remainder of the finish is original.
Body Material: Mahogany
Body Details: Mahogany back and sides with spruce top. There is a repaired crack in the top at the treble bout. The back of the body has numerous repaired cracks, which have been reinforced with internal cleats. There is also a repaired crack in the side near the neck heel. This area has been touched up, and the back of the body has been oversprayed. There is also a repaired crack on the side of the treble bout. Several body braces have also been repaired.

Cosmetic Condition: This vintage Gibson acoustic guitar shows plenty of nice aging and authentic wear, with numerous pick scratches, knocks, dings, and other signs of decades of use. There are repaired cracks in the top, treble side of the body, near the neck heel, and on the back of the body. There is dark finish touchup on the side of the body at the heel, and on the heel itself. The back of the neck is nicely worn with small dents and dings, and the headstock edges are nicely worn.

Tech Notes: The guitar plays well with low action and optimal neck relief, and the original narrow frets are low with light play wear. The factory order number and instrument rank are stamped on the front of the heel block, and dates to 1950.
