Neck Details: One-piece mahogany set neck with a Brazilian rosewood board, center dot pearloid inlays, truss adjustment at the headstock
Electronics: Two single-coil pickups with a 3-way toggle pickup selector switch and volume and tone controls per pickup. -- The electronics are original showing no signs of modification. Visible pot codes date to 1964.
Pickup Measurements: Neck: 7 kΩ / Bridge: 7 kΩ
Hardware: The tuning machine posts have been replaced excluding the B-string. The tuner buttons have been replaced. The G & D tuner shafts are bent slightly but function correctly. -- The toggle switch tip has been replaced. -- The hardware shows tarnishing.
Modifications/Repairs: Replaced toggle switch-tip and tuning machine posts (excluding B) & buttons -- The bridge volume control knob has been replaced with a repro knob. It looks very similar but is not an exact match.
Case Details: Original chipboard case.
Cosmetic Condition: This guitar shows nice aging and playwear. Finish checking, nicks, and dings are present throughout. The side of the bass-side horn shows finish chips and a couple small touch-ups. Buckle rash can be seen on the back. Case rash can be seen on the back at the treble-side lower bout. The back of the neck has handwear as well as other misc. blemishes and minor dings and dents.
Serial Number: 272651
Tech Notes: Currently setup with 11 gauge strings with a wound 3rd, low action, and optimal neck relief. A wound 3rd is recommended for optimal intonation as the bridge compensation is on the B string. The frets are wide and low showing some playwear. -- The serial number dates to 1965.
