A jazz box outside and a semi-hollow workhorse inside, the Gibson Memphis ES-275 Thinline Satin 2019 combines the elegant silhouette of a thinline Gibson jazz box with a thermally engineered chambered maple centerblock and quarter-sawn Adirondack spruce bracing to create an incredibly lightweight archtop with the versatility of a semi-hollow body. The rounded single cut allows for easy access to all of the “C”-profile neck and its dark rosewood, 22-fret fingerboard. The Memphis Historic Spec II humbucking pickups with Memphis Tone Control Premiere wiring offer enhanced tonal control and glorious, golden vintage tone that shines under the satin nitrocellulose lacquer finish.
