Cramming all the big, resonant tone and sustain of the legendary 335 into a lighter and more compact instrument, Gibson’s ES-339 has quickly become a modern favorite, and the new 2019 model with satin nitrocellulose finish is sure to be no different. The rounded “C”-profile mahogany neck features a hand-rolled, rosewood fingerboard with pearloid dot inlay. The nickel-plated hardware set provides durability and stable, precise tuning under all conditions, and the dual Memphis Historic Spec II humbucking pickups with Memphis Tone Control Plus wiring offer classic Gibson ES tone with an expanded tonal array for a more versatile playing experience than ever.
