The maple neck’s round profile feels substantial without being clubby, equally at home driving rhythm or picking out melodies. The Antique Natural nitro finish lets the figured maple do the talking.
Then there are the appointments that make an SJ-200 unmistakable from across the stage: the carved four-bar Moustache bridge, engraved tortoise pickguard, and mother-of-pearl crown inlays on the fingerboard and headstock.
