Electronics: Some solder joints have been touched up, otherwise original active electronics, with Gibson patent number pickups, 3-way pickup selector switch, and independent volume controls for each pickup. There are two active EQ controls for bass and treble cut/boost. There is also a separate switch for the active boost.
Pickup Measurements: N/A due to active electronics
Hardware: A pickguard has been added, and one of the switch tips has been replaced; the original hasn't been included.
Modifications/Repairs: A pickguard has been added, and one of the switch tips has been replaced. A few spots of finish damage have been touched up with black.
Case Details: Non-original hardshell case included. The middle latch does not close.
Cosmetic Condition: The guitar shows play wear consistent with its age, with light surface scratches and small finish dings throughout; the back shows some heavier scratches and light buckle rash. The horns have some heavier finish wear/dings which has been touched up with black. There are some outlines where stickers have previously been, one circular on the pickguard, and one rectangular just behind the tailpiece. There is also a small spot of finish touchup just behind the nut on the treble side.
Serial Number: 83341008
Tech Notes: Currently set up with 10s, low action, and optimal neck relief. The frets are wide and low with light wear, but the guitar plays cleanly. This model was only produce from 1980 to 1981, and the serial number dates this guitar to 1981. There is a route in the neck pickup cavity that was done after the finish was sprayed (see pictures); this was likely done at the factory to allow for more room to adjust the neck pickup.
