Electronics: The bridge pickup, bridge volume pot, and pickup selector switch have been replaced. All other electronics are original. The guitar has three humbuckers, a three-way selector switch, two volume pots, and two tone pots. The middle humbucker has been wired out of the circuit and some solder joints have been retouched. The selector switch is wired to the bridge pickup in position 1, neck and bridge in position 2, and neck in position 3. The pot codes on the original pots date to 1971. The bridge pickup is stamped with a 1978 date.
Pickup Measurements: neck - 7.5 kΩ, middle - 7.5 kΩ, bridge - 7.3 kΩ

Cosmetic Condition: This vintage Gibson SG is in good condition. The finish is glossy with scattered scratches and dings throughout. The Bigsby shows some tool marks by the D string pin. The bridge tone knob has its rim partially cracked off. The metal hardware is well worn and moderately tarnished with age.
