Cosmetic Condition: | The body and neck have been fully refinished, aside from possible the headstock face. The refinish shows wear in many spots, and some irregularities including runs/drips and finish sinking into wood pores. The body has numerous small dings and scratches on the front; the back of the body shows considerable buckle rash and several additional dings. The headstock face shows quite a bit of finish wear as well, with numerous dings and chips. There is some finish chipping around the tuner holes, as well as imprints from tuners with a larger washer that were previously installed. |
Tech Notes: | Plays well with low action and minor neck relief; the guitar is currently set up with 10s. The frets are wide and tall with minor wear. The visible pot codes date to 1965; the serial number has been obscured by the refinish. The pot codes, original pickup configuration, body shape and style, and vibrato tailpiece date the guitar to 1965. |
