Pickup Measurements: Neck:11.8 kΩ, Bridge: 13.6 kΩ
Hardware: Original -- Alternate tuning machines were installed at one point as there are open screw holes under the current machines base plate.
Modifications/Repairs: Alternate tuning machines were installed at some point.

Cosmetic Condition: This SG Special shows nice aging and play wear. Finish checking is present throughout. Various nicks, dings, scratches, and assorted blemishes are exist.

Tech Notes: Currently, set up with 10-gauge strings with a wound 3rd strings, low action, and optimal neck relief. The frets are wide and low showing light play wear. -- The serial number can date from 1965 or 1968. The wiring harness dates from 1965.
