Hardware: Tuners, bridge, and strap buttons have been replaced
Weight: 6lbs 15oz
Modifications/Repairs: Guitar has had a heel break which has been repaired. There is still a small gap in the back, but it is structurally solid. Pickups have been replaced; the neck pickup is an older seymour duncan jazz model bridge (JMB-M), the bridge pickup is a PAF clone of some kind, based on the sticker and output reading, it could be a gibson 57 classic or burstbucker 2, but hard to be sure. The covers are reproductions and are not original to either pickup. The bridge pickup ring is an old M8, the neck ring is a newer reproduction. The sideways vibrola is original, however it is missing the arm. The cover also has a small square section cut out of the bass side. One of the mounting screws has been replaced. It appears that the guitar had a maestro vibrola installed at some point as evident by looking under the sideways. The fading of the finish suggests that sideways was original and the maestro was installed at a later date (see internal photos). The bridge is an early 70's patent number wire abr (no foundry mark). Truss rod cover is from the 70's. Tuners have been replaced with old gibson deluxe double line, double ring tuners. There are holes from previous tuners. There are two binding patches on the neck; one on the bass side spanning from the 15-19th frets, and another on the end of the fretboard. Strap locks have been installed.
Case Details: Hardshell
Cosmetic Condition: There are dings and scratches throughout, finish worn away along the edges, and some buckle rash on the back. There is heavy checking throughout. There has been a finish touch up on the inside of the lower horn.
Serial Number: 44462
Tech Notes: Guitar plays well with low action and optimal neck relief. Frets are original, and are very low with heavy signs of wear (divots throughout)
