Neck Details: One-piece Honduran mahogany neck with bound Brazilian rosewood fingerboard, original frets, and original nut. The frets have been leveled.
Electronics: The electronics are mostly original with exception of the bridge volume pot, which has been replaced. Two patent-sticker humbuckers with three-position selector switch and volume/tone controls for each pickup. One of the original pot codes dates to 1965, the other original date codes are covered with solder. Most of the joints on the original components are untouched. The original bridge volume pot, which does not function properly, is included in the case.

Hardware: All of the hardware appears to be original.

Modifications/Repairs: The bridge volume pot has been replaced, there are a few touched up solder joints in the electronics, and the frets have been leveled.

Cosmetic Condition: This guitar is overall in good condition with moderate wear. The finish is glossy and weather checked, with scratches, dents, chips, and areas of finish wear throughout. The original chrome hardware shows a mild patina.

Tech Notes: The guitar plays well with low action. The frets are wide and low, showing moderate wear. The serial number dates to 1966, and the visible original pot code in the electronics dates to 1965.
