Electronics: Original Tim Shaw patent stamped humbuckers with a three-position switch, two volume pots, and two tone pots. The volume pots date to 1981 and the tone pots date to 1982. Electronics are all original but some solder joints have been touched up.

Hardware: Original Gibson tuners, bridge, and tail-piece. The nut is non-original.

Tech Notes: This Gibson plays well with low action and optimal neck relief. The frets are tall and show moderate play wear. It has been properly setup and intonated in standard tuning. Serial dates to 1983 and pot codes date to 1981 & 1982.
