Neck Details: Mahogany neck with bound ebony fingerboard. The wing on the bass side of the headstock is separating slighlty, but appears stable. There is finish cracking along the neck heel seams. The nut has been shimmed.
Electronics: The guitar has been rewired, and the bridge and middle pickups have been replaced. The pickups are the original patent stamped neck pickup, a Jackson J-100 in the middle, and a Seymour Duncan JB in the bridge position. The pickups are connected to a five-position selector switch, master volume, and master tone controls. The neck pickup is wired to a mini toggle switch to select the front coil or full humbucker.
Pickup Measurements: Neck 7.65K, Middle 6.18K, Bridge 15.92K
Hardware: The hardware appears original with exception of replaced knobs.

Modifications/Repairs: The guitar has been rewired, and the bridge and middle pickups have been replaced. The original nut has been shimmed. The knobs have been replaced. The pickguard has been modified.

Cosmetic Condition: This guitar is in good condition with heavy wear. The finish has faded heavily, with areas of finish wear, scratches, checking, and dents throughout. The pickguard has been drilled to accept a pickup mounting ring in the bridge position, and is cracked in several places. The hardware has oxidized.

Tech Notes: The guitar plays well with low action. The frets are medium width and low, showing moderate wear. The serial number dates to 1981.
