Finish Details: The guitar has been fully oversprayed, with filled routes and patches visible on the top.

Electronics: The pickups are vintage DeArmond single coil pickups with adjustable magnets from Rowe Manufacturing, however they are not original to the guitar. The wiring harness has been replaced.

Hardware: The tuners, nut, strap buttons, and knobs are all replaced.

Case Details: Hardshell Case
Cosmetic Condition: This vintage Gretsch guitar shows various signs of modifications through the years, with plugged holes and pickup routes on the top, as well as plugged screw holes on the back of the headstock from other tuners. There is finish wear along the fingerboard binding seam, as well as around the nut on the headstock. There is also some wear visible on the back of the neck under the overspray.

Tech Notes: The guitar plays well with medium-low action and mild neck relief; the truss rod is functional, but has limited adjustability. Although the fingerboard is consistent with later year specs, it is not original to the guitar; the remaining appointments and serial number date the guitar to 1956.
