Description

The following specs were carefully collected and recorded by a skilled technician. For a more detailed description and questions regarding sound, feel, or cosmetic condition, please visit our Lincoln Avenue showroom or call to speak to one of our Used and Vintage experts.
Finish Details: Original finish.
Body Material: Poplar
Body Details: Multi-piece solid poplar body. There are some hairline cracks in the finish along the seams of the joints where the wings are glued to the center, from the wood expanding and shrinking over time. These do not affect playability, and are only in the finish.
Neck Material: Maple
Fingerboard Material: Rosewood
Neck Profile: D
Neck Thickness (IN): 1st fret .76", 12th fret .779"
Fingerboard Radius: 12.00"
Nut Width: 1-9/16"
Scale Length: 24 3/5"
Neck Details: Bolt-on maple neck with unbound rosewood fingerboard and dot inlays.
Electronics: Original single coil pickups. The controls consist of a on/off mute switch on the upper horn, on/off slider switches for both pickups, tone switch, and "mute" switch (which is really a second tone switch). The volume pot has been replaced, and some solder joints have been touched up.
Pickup Measurements: Neck 6.29K, Bridge 7.72K
Hardware: Three saddles have been replaced with saddles from a different Hagstrom model and do not have spacing or intonation adjustability. All other hardware is original. One of the original saddles is missing its set screws.
Weight: 6lbs 11oz
Modifications/Repairs: The volume pot has been replaced, and some solder joints have been touched up. Three saddles have been replaced.
Case Details: Original Chipboard Case
Cosmetic Condition: This vintage guitar is in good condition with wear consistent with its age. The finish is worn and hazing. There are minor dents and dings throughout. The hardware has a strong patina.
Serial Number: 632230
Tech Notes: The guitar plays well with low action. The frets are narrow and low, with minor wear. The string spacing has been set to anchor the saddles in place with tension from the outside saddles. The serial number dates to 1965.
