This was a house instrument at Southern Ground Studio and has been used on recordings by Zac and many other great artists during its time in Nashville.

Finish Details: The guitar has many finish touchups on repaired cracks, which are present on the top, back, and bass side of the body.

Hardware: The tuners, nut, bridge, and saddle have been replaced.

Modifications/Repairs: There are repaired and touched up cracks in the top and back of the body, along with one on the bass side of the body. There are assorted other small finish touchups present. The neck has been reset and refretted, and there is a shim under the fretboard tongue. The tuners, nut, bridge, and saddle are replaced, and there is a small wood reinforcement added to the bridge plate.
Cosmetic Condition: This vintage Martin 0-42 has aged nicely, with signs of use and repair on the body and neck. There are several repaired and touched-up cracks in the top, back, and side of the body, along with some finish touchups on two scratches at either side of the neck. There is significant wear near the soundhole, and an open screw hole on the heel from a strap button.

Tech Notes: The guitar plays well with low action, and is currently strung with extra light 10 gauge phosphor bronze strings. The frets show mild wear. The serial number dates this guitar to 1924.
