Finish Details: Original natural finish. The finish is heavily worn with checking, dings, dents, wear, and scratches throughout.

Electronics: Non-original pickup with a volume pot and a tone pot. The pots have been positioned next to the neck on the bass side of the body. In addition to the pots, an output jack was installed on the treble side of the body.
Hardware: Original Grover "Pat. Pend." tuners. The nut and saddle are not original.

Modifications/Repairs: -Neck reset. -Bridge reglue. -Refret. -Pickup system installed. -Various crack repairs on the top and back side. -Three holes drilled into the side of the body. Two near the neck on the bass side for volume and tone controls and one on the treble side towards the rear of the guitar for the output jack. -Non-original nut and saddle. -The pickguard has been reglued at some point.
Case Details: Hardshell Case
Cosmetic Condition: This vintage D-28 is in good cosmetic condition with idilic wear throughout. In addition to the heavy pick wear on the top, the body displays heavy checking and yellowing of the finish. All wear on the instrument is consistent with years of playing. Also, the finish in and around the sound hole shows heavier wear due to the installation of the pickup.

Tech Notes: This D-28 plays well with low action. The non-original frets are thin and show moderate wear with lots of life left. This specific D-28 is being dated to 1967 based on the serial number.
