Finish Details: Original finish. The finish on the back of the neck has worn down to bare wood.
Body Material: Rosewood
Body Details: Brazilian rosewood back and sides with spruce top.

Electronics: The guitar has a low output passive transducer pickup installed on the bridge plate. This pickup should be used with a preamp. An endpin output jack has also been installed.

Modifications/Repairs: -The neck has been reset and refretted. -There is one 6 inch long repaired crack in the top of the body on the treble side. -There is a repaired crack on the bass side shoulder starting at the neck heel and extending about 3 inches. -A small section of the top binding has been broken off and reglued right next to the bass side of the fingerboard. -The saddle slot has been filled and three individuals have been installed which are compensated for better intonation. -A strap button has been installed in the heel. -The pick guard is not original.

Cosmetic Condition: This vintage Martin D-28 acoustic guitar is in very good cosmetic condition with beautiful aging and finish checking throughout. There is a small repaired chip in the finish in the treble side of the neck heel.

Tech Notes: The guitar plays well with low action. The frets are narrow and tall with minimal play wear. The serial number dates to 1969.
