Body Details: Rosewood back and sides with a spruce top. There are repaired cracks in the top, including one between the pickguard and bridge and one extending from the bass wing of the bridge to the end of the body.

Fingerboard Material: Ebony
Neck Profile: Soft "V" profile
Neck Thickness (IN): .85" (1st fret), 1.00" (10th fret)

Neck Details: Mahogany neck with bound ebony fretboard, hexagon inlays, and non-adjustable neck reinforcement. A strap button was added at the heel.

Hardware: Original Grover tuners, and original nut and bridge. The bridge has been reglued, and the saddle has been replaced.

Cosmetic Condition: Guitar is in good cosmetic condition for it's age. There is checking throughout as well as pick scratches, play wear, minor dings, and swirling/scratching throughout. The top has a couple repaired cracks, including between the pickguard and bridge and from the bass wing of the bridge to the end of the body. There is a small patch of wear behind the bridge as well.

Tech Notes: This vintage Martin D-41 plays well with low action and optimal neck relief, and the original frets are narrow and medium height with minor play wear. The serial number dates the guitar to 1979.
