Description

Hot Water takes the same number of transistors normally found within a Big Muff and gets four times the amount of gain out of them. It is heavy, synthy, and compressed, but still has enough dynamic range that your original signal will shine through when you pull back on the gain (or roll back on your volume knob). It is equally comfortable adding a bit of sizzle to your country gig or being your always on for your desert rock evening jams. Hot Water, part of the new MAE budget line alongside Trust Yourself, gives you an interesting pedal with a big LED for not a lot of money.

CONTROLS

  • MORE- Traditional gain control, gives you more of what you want. The higher the gain, the more compressed the fuzz will get.
  • LOUD- Master volume, turn up for more loud

Uses standard Boss style power supply (9VDC 2.1mm center negative). Hot Water can be powered at 18v, but it will sound better at 9v
