There is a large touched up ding on the side of the treble shoulder as well. The original Hawaiian stencils are nicely worn. The finish on the back of the neck is heavily worn, and is smooth and comfortable to play. The refinished fingerboard is mostly smooth, with some minor bubbling from the 5th to 8th frets, and has 4 filled screw holes on the tongue. The headstock face is worn, and part of the "National" decal is worn away.
Serial Number: 1550
Tech Notes: The guitar plays well with low action and optimal neck relief, and is well suited to either slide or fingerstyle playing. The frets are tall with minimal wear. The serial number and construction appointments date the guitar to the early 1930s.
