Finish Details: Original. The black finish has developed a slight greenish patina with age.

Electronics: Original Rickenbacker single coils with a three-position switch, two volume pots, and two tone pots. Electronics are original and some solder joints have been touched up. The solder joints all date to 1986.
Pickup Measurements: Bridge: 7.81kΩ Neck: 7.84kΩ
Hardware: Original Schaller tuners, nut, and bridge. The bridge pickup cover and bridge cover are not included with the guitar.

Modifications/Repairs: -Solder joints have been touched up. -Almost the entire bass side wing of the body has been broken off and reglued in place. This crack repair can be seen around the whole front and back of the body as well as inside the pickup cavities. This repair is stable and not affecting playability.
Case Details: Original Hardshell Case
Cosmetic Condition: Bass is in good cosmetic condition. The black finish has developed a slight greenish patina with age. There are finish checks throughout as well as dings, scratches, and dents. There is a large chip in the fingerboard at the 10th fret on the bass side and the hardware is heavily tarnished. There is also a repaired crack spanning from the back of the body all the way around to the front and is evident of a complete separation and regluing of the bass side wing.

Tech Notes: This 4003S plays well with low action and optimal neck relief. The frets are tall and show moderate play wear. It has been properly setup and intonated in standard tuning.
