The new 4003v2 Tailpiece+Damper Assembly is an updated version of the classic Rickenbacker bass tailpiece. Updates include individual saddle adjustments which allow for greater intonation, string height & functionality. Strings are threaded through the string retainer which prevents any string pull on the tailpiece itself. This assembly will retrofit all 4001, 4001S, 4002, 4003, 4003S, 3000 & 3001 series instruments but does require new screw holes to be drilled, these will be covered by the Tailpiece+Damper Assembly when it is installed. Directions and installation template included.
