Finish Details: Original
Body Material: Metal
Body Details: Hollow metal body and neck
Neck Profile: Square neck
Fingerboard Radius: No Radius
Nut Width: 2"
Scale Length: 22 1/2"
Electronics: Original horseshoe magnet pickup with original Stackpole volume and tone controls. The pots do not have date codes. The volume control is a bit scratchy when turned, but this is understandable for components of this age.
Pickup Measurements: 1.7k ohms
Hardware: Original hardware except for replaced bone nut.
Modifications/Repairs: -A bone nut has been installed.
Case Details: Gig bag.
Cosmetic Condition: The guitar has light play wear for its age. The finish is glossy with light dents and scratches throughout. The metal hardware is nicely tarnished with age. There is a small crack in the plastic bridge piece. The part is original to the guitar so it has not been replaced. This crack is not affecting playability. A small piece of the volume knob is also cracked off. This is also not affecting playability.
Serial Number: E3714
Tech Notes: Plays well, tuned to open E. -The style of magnet suggest the guitar was build before 1946. The "Rickenbacher" name plate suggests it was built sometime after 1934.
