I recommend this product
sandberg Ken Taylor Basic

I purchased this guitar online, first time I ever bout a guitar like this without playing it first. The original strings were steel strings and I thought they were bright, and D'Addario nickel wound strings suit my taste much better. It did need a truss rod adjustment, and the output jack was making contact with the ground, leading to rapid battery depletion. My local shop was able to fix the output jack and Sandberg was very good about covering the cost of that. This guitar is an upgrade to my first jazz bass, and I love it. It is much lighter and has a 24 fret neck. The tone can be sculpted to whatever is suitable, with a push-pull volume knob to bypass the pre-amp and a switch to change the twin humbucker pickups to single coil. The humbuckers are not as punchy as a Stingray but can be very bright if needed. I am very impressed with Sandberg guitars, and the staff at CME was great at shipping and getting my connected with the Sandberg rep when needed.
