One of Taylor's newest offerings, the Grand Pacific Builder's Edition 717 introduces a new sound and feel to the brand.
Constructed with a torrefied Sitka spruce top and mahogany back and sides, this round-shoulder dreadnought speaks with rich low-end, crystal clear highs and mids registers, and an overall tone that is warm, seasoned, and nicely blended. The revolutionary V-Class bracing pattern, a Taylor innovation inspired by early bluegrass and old-time records, improves projection and sustain, allowing the top to vibrate more freely for a natural, open sound. This Builder's Edition model also includes a suite of premium features designed to improve playing feel, like chamfered body edges, a new compound-carved neck profile, contoured fingerboard edges, a ridgeless heel, and a refined bridge, as well as a noise-reducing Satin finish for enhanced tonal purity.
