Finish Details: Finish appears original with some small areas of overspray on back of body.
Body Material: Mahogany
Body Details: Honduran mahogany back and sides with spruce top. Crack repairs on back and top, cleats have been added to back for support. Top has sunk around soundhole and is raised behind bridge. A few braces look to have been reglued.

Neck Details: One-piece Honduran mahogany neck with unbound ebony fingerboard. Non adjustable truss rod. Neck has been refretted and reset. Headstock repair. Strap button installed on heel.
Hardware: Hardware appears original with exception of a few screws and strap button on heel. Tuners appear original but have been flipped for accessibility.

Modifications/Repairs: Crack repairs on back and top, several braces have been reglued, neck reset, refret, headstock repair. Tuners have been flipped so buttons are more accessible, leaving indentations and two extra screwholes in headstock. Strap button has been installed on heel of neck.

Cosmetic Condition: Guitar is in fair condition with heavy wear from age and play. There are lots of scratches, repaired cracks, areas of finish checking, dents, dings, and finish chips throughout.

Tech Notes: Guitar plays well with optimal action. The neck has an s-curve and is twisted, but frets have been leveled to accommodate for this. Notes ring out clearly up and down the neck. Frets are narrow, and low, showing minimal wear. Serial number dates to 1936.
