COLLISION DEVICES | BLACK HOLE SYMMETRY
Collision Devices Black Hole Symmetry in CME Exclusive White
You don’t need to be a billionaire to travel through space. The new Collision Devices Black Hole Symmetry in CME Exclusive White, handbuilt in Angers, France, takes you to the center of the universe with modulated delay (Ergosphere), pitch reverb (Event-Horizon), and fuzz (Singularity), giving you total control over the fabric of space-time and leaving other multi-effects lightyears behind.
Available in the US only at the Chicago Music Exchange, the new Collision Devices Black Hole Symmetry in CME Exclusive White is our entry into the modern-day space race, a multi-effect of epic astrophysical proportions, built to explore the furthest reaches of sound, and should you choose to travel further, handily exceed them.
Collision has many faces
Always in the spirit of making high quality products by hand, in France and to help musicians to push the limits of their creativity without compromise.
Born in 2016, their eye for design and material makes for a highly luxurious product that allows musicians to explore new sonic avenues and take their creativity to new heights.
The Collision Devices Black Hole Symmetry is a brooding, warbling, black box that will bring you some of the heaviest tones in the universe. Complete with a modulated delay, shimmering echo, and destructive fuzz, the Black Hole Symmetry has all you need to enter the wormhole of ambient, shoegaze, or any genre that calls for heavily effected sound.
COLLISION DEVICES EFFECTS PEDALS
Exploring the black hole
Hand-made in France by Collision Devices, the Black Hole Symmetry may seem imposing at first glance, but is thoughtfully laid out to provide a welcoming and highly exploratory playing experience.
"Ergosphere" represents the modulated delay, and the outermost set of controls. This effect is set first in the three-effect chain brought by the pedal. Second, as you travel further into the sonic void, is the
"Event Horizon" which represents a shimmering, pitch-shifted reverb/echo and the middle layer of controls.
Finally, the "Singularity," the point of no return, where the universe stops and the Black Hole Symmetry really begins to open up. A highly aggressive, gated fuzz that only needs one knob to crush your sound into oblivion.
The effects chain may seem atypical, delay>reverb>fuzz, but this unique combination all running simultaneously is where the Black Hole Symmetry shows its true colors...or lack thereof. Running the fuzz last in the chain provides a unique, crushed sound that lends itself very well to swells and drop-tuned chords.
