Introducing | the Taylor GT
MEET THE TAYLOR GRAND THEATER (GT)
This new model fills the gap between the GS Mini and Grand Concert to create a size all its own: the Grand Theatre.
Taylor adds even more variety to their expansive catalog with the new GT, a small-bodied, short-scale acoustic guitar that establishes a brand new size in between the compact GS Mini and the Grand Concert, their smallest full-size body shape.
The Right Size for the Right Journey.
The new GT, short for Grand Theatre, is essentially a scaled-down Grand Orchestra. Both have nearly the same lower bout and nut widths, but the GT’s body is noticeably shorter, as is its 24-1/8” scale length. Add a solid Sitka spruce top, solid urban ash back and sides, and new C-Class bracing to this exciting design and you have an incredibly comfortable new acoustic that sings with the rich, robust voice of a full-size.
800 Series versions of the popular GT & GTe!
Taylor gives their new Grand Theatre body shape the flagship treatment, announcing GT811 and GT811e models just in time for the holidays. Expanding the availability of the brand's newest body shape, but Taylor outfits each with premium components like a solid Sitka spruce top, Indian rosewood back and sides, neo-tropical mahogany neck, new C-Class bracing, Element inlays, and an attractive rosette for a playing experience that's as luxurious as it is fun.
This new flagship model includes Taylor's AeroCase Lightweight and is available with or without electronics, preorders yours now at the Chicago Music Exchange.
