Electronics: Original grey bobbin Fender split single coil pickup; controls include master volume and tone controls. Some solder joints have been touched up, and the ground wire from the output jack has been replaced.

Hardware: The low E string has a non-original ferrule.

Modifications/Repairs: -The volume pot has been replaced -Some solder joints have been touched up, and a couple wires have been replaced in the harness -The low E string ferrule is not original
Case Details: Original hardshell case; the top latch is broken, but the case is secure.
Cosmetic Condition: The bass shows moderate cosmetic wear, appropriate for its age. The finish has slightly yellowed, and has numerous small chips and dings on the body and neck. There is a small blemish on the top edge above the bottom strap button, as well as along the treble side of the body; this is likely discoloration from the case. The sides of the body have many dents and somewhat larger dings, and there is moderate buckle rash on the back. The neck has several finish chips, which do not affect playability.
Serial Number: S812086
Tech Notes: The bass plays well with medium action and light neck relief; the frets are fairly low with minor wear. The neck has a moderate swoop upward at the heel; the bass has been set up to play cleanly in this condition. The serial number and tone pot code date to 1978.
