Neck Details: Bolt-on maple neck with unbound rosewood veneer fretboard, dot inlays, and heel-adjust truss rod. The neck has a "JUL 72B" heel stamp.
Electronics: Original Fender pickup with grey fiberboard bobbins, with master volume and tone controls. The volume pot has been replaced and dates to 1982; the remainder of the wiring harness is original, and the tone pot dates to 1972.

Hardware: The bridge saddles have been replaced. The original saddles are included, however their adjustment screws are frozen.

Cosmetic Condition: The bass is in very clean cosmetic condition, with only minor blemishes on the glossy finish. Light scratches and swirl marks are present, along with a few small dings around the edges of the body. The back of the neck is glossy and smooth with minimal wear present.

Tech Notes: The bass plays well with low action and light neck relief; the bass is currently set up with 45-100 light gauge strings. The truss rod is at its maximum position, and so heavier strings would not be recommended. The frets are moderately low with minimal wear. The serial number and heel stamp date the bass to 1972.
