Body Details: Solid one piece alder body. The inside of the control cavity has the name "C.J. Parr" carved into the bottom.
Neck Material: Maple

Neck Details: Bolt-on maple neck with unbound Brazilian rosewood veneer fretboard, dot inlays, and heel-adjust truss rod. The neck has been refretted and the nut has been replaced. The heel has a "2SEP65B" date stamp.
Electronics: Original grey bobbin Fender single coil pickups and electronics, with 3-way blade selector switch, master volume control, neck tone control, and middle tone control. The output jack has been replaced, and a few solder joints have been touched up. The pickups have 1965 dates, and the pot codes date to 1965 as well. The switch contact which sends the signal to the middle tone pot is intermittent, but the switch has been left intact as it is an original part.
Pickup Measurements: 5.7k (neck), 6.0k (middle), 6.0k (bridge)
Hardware: The nut, output jack, and a few screws have been replaced. The trem cavity cover and the trem arm are missing.

Modifications/Repairs: The neck has been refretted and the nut has been replaced. The output jack has been replaced and a few solder joints have been touched up.
Case Details: Original hardshell case with COA.
Cosmetic Condition: The guitar has aged nicely; the finish is a semi-gloss with light checking and patches of minor wear throughout. There are a couple larger dings on the front of the body, including one crescent-shaped ding behind the bridge. The back of the body has moderate buckle rash and dings, and the sides of the body have additional spots of wear, particularly along the treble side. The finish on the back of the neck has worn nicely, and the headstock has minor checking as well.
Serial Number: L42004
Tech Notes: Plays well with low action and optimal neck relief; the guitar is currently set up with 10s. The frets are narrow and tall with minor wear, and the truss rod is adjustable. The serial number dates to 1964 or 1965; the pot codes and heel stamp date to 1965. The guitar includes a Reverb COA indicating that the guitar was once owned by Billie Joe Armstrong.
