Neck Details: "Made in USA" stamped with volute. Original frets have been leveled and a new nut has been installed. Headstock has been routed for larger hex bushing tuners, and newer Gibson Deluxe tuner have been installed (originals in case).
Electronics: Patent stamped mini humbuckers with 3 position toggle switch and pickup specific volume and tone controls. Wiring harness appears to be from 1973 and there are a a few touched up solder joints, most likely from install.
Pickup Measurements: Neck 6.5K, Bridge 6.01K
Hardware: Tuners have been replaced. All other hardware appears original.
Weight: 9lbs 15oz
Modifications/Repairs: Frets have been leveled, a new nut and new tuners have been installed. The wiring harness has most likely been replaced with an original harness from 1973.
Case Details: Original hardshell case.
Cosmetic Condition: Guitar is in good condition with light play-wear. There are small surface scratches, finish swirls, and finish hazing throughout. The finish on the neck has faded from play. Finish is glossy and there is an absence of finish checking.
Serial Number: 171083
Tech Notes: Guitar plays well with low action and optimal neck relief. Frets are wide and low, and show little to no wear. Serial number range dates this guitar between 1970 and 1975, and pot codes date to 1973, but a photo copy of the original purchase receipt in case is dated 1971. This guitar is likely a 1971 model with replaced electronics.
