The back of the neck has worn to wood along most of its length, and is smooth and comfortable to play. There is a small ding at the end of the fretboard, which does not affect playability.

Tech Notes: The bass plays well with medium-low action and light neck relief; the truss rod is adjustable. The frets are narrow and fairly low with light wear. The heel stamp and serial number date to 1967.
