Finish Details: The guitar has been refinished and relic'd.
Body Material: Mahogany
Body Details: Solid mahogany body. The original "swimming pool" route under the pickguard has been plugged in the middle and has been converted to two humbucker routes. Some original finish as well as Pelham Blue overspray exists in the pickup routes. New channels have been drilled into the body for pickup leads to enter the electronics cavity.

Neck Details: Mahogany neck with bound Indian rosewood fingerboard and trapezoid inlays. The headstock has been repaired, and has been reshaped during the repair. The headstock overlay has been replaced with a mid 1970's overlay. The truss rod access channel has been recut. Several fingerboard inlays have been reglued, with the 15th fret inlay being replaced entirely. The frets are original and have been leveled. A small section of binding on the bass side from the 21st fret to the end of the fingerboard has been patched. The tuner post holes have been enlarged to accept modern 10m hex-bushing tuners.
Electronics: The guitar has been rewired and the pickups have been replaced. Gibson T-Type humbuckers with three-position selector switch, and volume and tone controls for each pickup.
Pickup Measurements: Neck 7.34K, Bridge 7.44K
Hardware: The nut, control plate, and Maestro unit (with replaced cover) are original, with all other hardware replaced.

Cosmetic Condition: This guitar is in good condition with wear related to the relic and from play. There are lots of small scratches, dents, dings, and finish chips throughout. There is some buckle rash on the back of the body, and well as some finish wear on the bass side of the body on the lower bout. The body and headstock face have simulated weather checking.
Serial Number: 800445
Tech Notes: The guitar plays well with low action. The frets are wide, flat, and low with mild wear. The serial number dates from 1966 to 1969, the body contours, neck heel, and nut width are consistent with SG's made from 1967 to 1968.
