Case Details: Original hard shell case -- The vynil has torn in various areas and the body side latch does not function
Cosmetic Condition: This Explorer E2 shows nice aging and play wear. The finish has worn in various areas, such as the back of the neck, and there are many other nicks & dings throughout. Buckle rash is visible on the back of the body. The hardware has tarnished.
Serial Number: 71729107
Tech Notes: Currently, setup with 10-gauge strings, low action, and optimal neck relief. The frets are wide and low showing light play wear. -- The serial number dates this Gibson from 1979. "SECOND" is embossed/stamped on the back of the headstock signifying this as a factory second instrument.
