Neck Details: One-piece mahogany neck with a bound Brazilian rosewood board and center dot inlays.
Electronics: Two P-90 pickups with a 3-way toggle pickup selector switch and volume & tone controls per pickup. -- All electronics are original and free from signs of modification. The pots date to 1959. -- There is a portion of the neck pickups bobbin that is cracked. The pickup functions without fault, regardless.
Pickup Measurements: Neck: 8.4 kΩ / Bridge: 8 kΩ
Hardware: The bridge is stress fractured and is not currently installed due to instability. It is included in the chipboard. An era correct replacement is currently installed.
Modifications/Repairs: Areas of this instrument have been refinished. - There is a heel break repair with the area surrounding having been refinished. An area under the 1st to 5th frets has been refinished on the back of the neck. -- Non-original, era correct bridge. Original included within the case.
Case Details: Original chipboard case showing use and other wear.
Cosmetic Condition: This guitar shows lots of playwear and aging. Nicks and dings are present throughout as well as finish checking.
Serial Number: 60866
Tech Notes: Currently, setup with 10 gauge wound third strings and low action. The frets are wide and low showing medium-light signs of playwear. -- The serial number dates this instrument to 1962.
