Cosmetic Condition: | The guitar has plenty of nice aging present; the finish has checking all over, along with many dings, finish chips, and scuffs. The sides and back of the body have heavy scratches and scuffs. The back of the neck is smooth, and the headstock decals are intact. There are small chips in the fretboard around the 13th fret from the neck reset, and there is some finish wear around the neck joint as well. |
Serial Number: | 3346 |
Tech Notes: | The guitar plays well with medium-low action, and the neck sights straight until the tongue, where it begins to swoop upward slightly. The neck does not have an adjustable truss rod. The decals in the soundhole and on the headstock are of the style used in the 1930s-early 1940s (pre-WWII). This is supported by the hardware style, body appointments, and its origin in the Chicago factory. |
