Neck Details: Bolt-on maple neck with bound ebonized maple fretboard, block inlays, and headstock truss rod adjustment.
Electronics: The neck pickup has been replaced. Original bridge pickup, with 3-way rotary selector switch, "blend" knob, and volume/tone controls for each pickup. Several solder joints and connections have been repaired, and a ground wire has been added from the tailpiece to the output jack. The pickups are wired out of phase in the middle positon. The pot codes date to 1961.

Cosmetic Condition: The guitar shows mild cosmetic wear, appropriate for its age. The finish has light patches of hazing, various light scratches, and other small age related blemishes. There is a repaired crack at the output jack.
Tech Notes: The guitar plays well with low action, and is currently set up with 10 gauge strings with a wound third. The neck sights with some inconsistencies that are expected for guitars of this style and era; the frets have been leveled and crowned to allow for clean and comfortable playing. The truss rod is functional. The electronics and appointments date this guitar to the early 1960s.
