Waterslide S-Style Coodercaster Aged White Blonde Nitro w/Mojo Lap Steel Pickup

Brand New
Serial #5092022
8lbs 1oz

Description & Specs

Made in the USA, this guitar features a lightly aged White Blonde Nitro Lacquer finish on a nicely figured Swamp Ash body. The Maple neck has a fat Nocaster-style profile (.98") and a 25.5" scale length that's 1 11/16" at the bone nut with a 10" radius and 6105 frets. It has a lightly aged satin finish that feels great and will not get sticky when playing. Tuners are vintage-style Klusons. Guitar weighs in at 7lbs 15oz.

The bridge pickup is a Mojo Lap Steel Pickup which is very fat sounding with tons of sustain and punch. These are uniquely sensitive pickups which nail the vintage character and tone of the original design. Primarily used by slide players like Ry Cooder, Jason Isbell and Blake Mills, these Lap Steel pickups have a special magic with open tunings and bottleneck playing.

The neck pickup is a Mojo reissue of a DeArmond Dynasonic pickup from the 50's. Fatter sounding than a Gold Foil with an upper-end chime that provides a nice complement, tonally. It holds its own with the Lap Steel pickup and provides a nice complement & contrast to the bridge pickup, tonally.

The bridge is a vintage-style trem with a steel block and saddles. There’s also VIPots audio taper pots, a PIO cap and cloth covered wiring, Pure Tone jack, amber switch tip and vintage Teacup knobs w/amber surrounds. The Leopard Tortoise celluloid pickguard ties it all together.

Great parts and great care go into these guitars and this one comes in a hardshell case.

If you decide you'd like to return an item, please contact your Sales Rep, chat us, or give us a call.

If you placed your order on Amazon or eBay, we advise issuing the return request from your account on the platform of purchase - our Customer Service team will process a refund upon receipt of the item(s).

Most new items may be returned within 30 days of delivery and most vintage & used items may be returned within 3 days of delivery for a full refund, exchange, or store credit. If the product was shipped for free, the charge will be deducted from refund, unless the reason for the return is outside normal circumstances.
