Scale Length: 34"
Neck Details: Bolt-on maple neck with bound Brazilian rosewood fretboard, dot inlays, and heel-adjust truss rod. The neck has a "7 MAY 66A" heel stamp.
Electronics: Original single coil pickups with grey fiberboard bobbins, and original wiring harness with neck and bridge pickup volume controls and master tone control. The pot codes date to 1966.

Hardware: Original, including body guard.
Weight: 9lbs 1oz
Modifications/Repairs: None
Case Details: Hardshell case
Cosmetic Condition: The bass has plenty of nice aging present, with finish checking and assorted small dents and dings on the body. There are spots of finish wear on the front of the body, between the pickup cover and bridge cover and to the left of the pickguard. The included body guard had been installed for many years and reacted with the finish along the sides of the body, as well as on a few spots on the back. The back of the neck is glossy with a few small dings and chips, and the headstock face has additional checking.
Serial Number: 143534
Tech Notes: The bass plays well with low action and optimal neck relief, and is currently set up with flatwound strings. The truss rod is close to its maximum position, but the bass sets up nicely. The frets are medium height with light wear present up to the fifth fret. The neck stamp, pot codes, and serial number date the bass to 1966.
