Electronics: Original electronics. Two pickups, three-way selector switch, rhythm circuit with on/off, volume, and tone controls. -1979 pot code dates, 1978 pickup dates. -Some of the solder joints on the wiring harness have been touched up.

Hardware: Original hardware. While Fender had begun using black pickup covers on most Jazzmasters by 1977, we still believe the white covers to be original to this guitar.

Case Details: Fender hardshell case is in good shape.
Cosmetic Condition: This guitar has light wear for its age. -The body has dents, scratches, some small finish chips and blemishes, and case rash on the back. -The neck has scuffs and dents.
Serial Number: S800622
Tech Notes: This Jazzmaster plays well with low action and light neck relief. The truss rod is adjustable. The frets have some areas of play wear but are still playing well. While the serial number dates to 1978, the 1979 pot code dates suggest that this instrument was produced in early 1979.
