There are various sections under the paint that have been filled or repaired

Modifications/Repairs: Has been over-sprayed -- The board has been painted glossy black but has since worn away in various areas. Areas of the board under the paint have been filled/repaired. Most notable at the 4th fret and 6th through 10th frets. -- The tuning machine buttons have been replaced -- There are repaired cracks on the sides and top of the body

Cosmetic Condition: This Jumbo 55 shows moderate play wear. Minor nicks & dings exist throughout. Finish checking can be seen throughout the body.

Tech Notes: Currently, set up with 12-gauge strings and low action. The truss rod is minimally adjustable but does hold the neck straight. The skinny frets show only light play wear. -- The FON dates this Gibson from 1941.
