Body Details: Maple back and sides with spruce top. The top bracing is not parallel, indicating 1938 structural appointments.

Neck Details: Maple neck with bound ebony fingerboard and split block inlays. The neck has been reset and refretted. The fingerboard was lightly planed during the refretting process.
Hardware: Original hardware. The bridge is Brazilian rosewood. The tailpiece is hinged and the tuning machines are stair stepped Grovers, both of which are consistent with 1938 appointments.

Modifications/Repairs: -The neck has been reset and refretted. -A small piece of plastic has been fixed to the underside of the pick guard to reattach it to the bracket.

Cosmetic Condition: This vintage guitar is in good condition with wear consistent with age. The finish is glossy, vibrant, and lightly weather-checked. There are minor dings, dents, and scratches throughout. The hardware has a patina consistent with the age of the insrtrument.
