The history of Stomp Under Foot's Tri Dirty Booster is a bit of a strange one. In the 70's, Hohner wanted to branch out from harmonicas into guitar effects to the hired a Japanese company to clone some pedals. One of the pedals they created was the Tri Dirty Booster. Possessing the wooly fuzz of the classic Triangle, but with smooth leads and circuitry more similar to a Ram's Head, the Tri Dirty Boost is one of those happy accident, MIJ classics that are now so popular on the American collector's market. SUF's Tri Dirty Boost follows the legacy of the original, made with NOS, obsolete, and vintage parts to bring home that true, obscure, coveted sound in a durable, modern build.
