The CS8W is a heavy-duty, double-braced boom cymbal stand that boasts several features that have made Yamaha's reliable hardware touring and studio favorites for many years.

  • By pinching the movable part on the side of the quick release nut, you can attach and detach it instantly, making cymbal installation quick and effortless.
  • Hide-Away Boom Arms can be retracted into the main pipe. This enables them to be set up as straight stands and takes up less space when packed up.
  • The enhanced cymbal washer is made by combining a soft material (outer/black part) and a hard material (inner/blue part), which fully brings out the cymbal’s natural resonance.
  • Each cymbal sleave is threaded to prevent unwanted rattling during play.
  • Step-free tilter allows smooth, infinite angle adjustment, letting you set your cymbal exactly where you want it.
